AWS Finance Video
After a first version of this video with a tumultuous client, my team was asked to storyboard, design, and animate a 1:30 long video using the new AWS brand that brings awareness, freshness, and excitement to their finance sector.
I had a large part in helping research, mood board, sketch, and finalize the completed video.

Style Frames
We used vibrant colors and dynamic shape language to bring a fresh approach to AWS finance. The client was adamant about using minimal stock footage, so this gave us an opportunity to dig through the most exciting visuals from their brand guide and bring them to life.
We started with a comprehensive moodboard, filled with findings from their brand guidelines, and outside pieces we found that could match the look and feel they were going for. We matched up these moodboard pieces to moments of the script, whether they be style-related, or related to the metaphor we wanted to portray.
Evolution
Once our moodboard picks had been mapped all over the script, we began sketching. First at low-fidelity just to get the idea across, then into this more polished version you see here for client meetings.
Once the sketches were approved, we began to digitize these frames. Design and animation were working in tandem and as soon as I completed a shot, it was immediately sent over to my teammate to begin animating. As you can see colors and footage changed, but it was rewarding to see a lot of the integrity of my sketches were still in place.
